The Stable school is set in the heart of St Catherine’s Hill, an area of outstanding natural beauty and an area of special scientific interest. As such we use the great outdoors and the wonderful nature around us to inspire and anchor us. Pupils have ample opportunities to learn outside, whether it be in our paddock and pond area, or having an art lesson on top on St Catherine’s hill.

We have a dedicated class that is mainly based outside, meeting the needs of pupils that learn best in the great outdoors. They are taught through bush craft, forest schools and have links to Duke of Edinburgh awards in KS4. We also embrace the therapeutic nature of animals and have opportunities to study a range of qualifications in equine studies.

We are passionate about the healing powers of nature – symbolised in our motto- where nature and nurture supports your future.
