Bude Class Learners Enjoy Fishing Experience with Fun2Fish

This half term, our Bude class were fortunate to take part in a fantastic fishing experience as part of their learning journey. Partnering with Fun2Fish, learners were introduced to the skills of casting, patience and care for the environment while enjoying time in nature.

The trip provided learners with the chance to try something new in a supportive and relaxed setting. Alongside developing practical skills, the experience helped to build confidence, resilience and teamwork which are all important parts of The Stable School’s curriculum.

Denise Carpenter, Principal of The Stable School, said:
“We are always looking for opportunities that help our learners connect with the world around them in meaningful ways. Fishing with Fun2Fish gave our Bude class not only the chance to learn new skills, but also to experience the calm and enjoyment of being outdoors together. It’s these enriching opportunities that help our learners thrive both in and out of the classroom.”

The school would like to thank Fun2Fish for providing such an engaging and memorable experience, which has left our Bude class inspired and keen to continue exploring outdoor activities.
