The Stable School Learners Explore History at Titanic Museum

In June, learners from The Stable School took a step back in time with an exciting trip to the Titanic Museum, linking directly to their topic “Iceberg Ahead!”.

The visit gave learners the chance to deepen their understanding of the famous ship’s story. They explored who was on board, discovered more about the journey leading up to its departure, and enjoyed a range of interactive, hands-on activities that brought history to life.

School Principal Denise Carpenter said:

“Our Titanic Museum trip was a fantastic opportunity for learners to connect with our topic in a meaningful and memorable way. Experiencing history first-hand helps them to develop curiosity and understanding far beyond the classroom.”

The day was filled with discovery, reflection and excitement, leaving learners inspired and eager to continue exploring the world around them.
