Learners and staff at The Stable School in Christchurch, Dorset came together on Thursday 18th December to celebrate the festive season with a joyful whole-school Christmas lunch and Christmas Jumper Day.
The event brought the entire school community together in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, giving learners the opportunity to enjoy a shared meal alongside familiar adults in a calm, supportive environment. Staff and learners alike wore their festive jumpers, helping to create a sense of fun, belonging and celebration across the school.
At The Stable School, social experiences like shared mealtimes play an important role in supporting communication skills, emotional wellbeing and positive relationships. Events such as this Christmas lunch are carefully planned to ensure all learners feel comfortable, included and able to participate in a way that suits their individual needs.
