On 25 November, learners from The Stable School’s Waikiki and Fistral classes visited the Ancient Technology Centre in Cranborne. The trip gave learners the chance to experience what life was like in the past through hands-on activities in farming, building, and everyday living.
Throughout the day, learners worked together to problem-solve, explore traditional skills, and gain a deeper understanding of how people in ancient times lived and worked. The activities encouraged teamwork, resilience, and curiosity, bringing history to life in an engaging and memorable way.
Denise Carpenter, Principal of The Stable School, said:
“It was fantastic to see our learners fully engaged and collaborating while exploring life in the past. Experiences like this bring history to life and provide so many opportunities for learning beyond the classroom. We are incredibly proud of how they approached every activity with curiosity and enthusiasm.”
A big thank you to the Ancient Technology Centre team for providing such an inspiring and interactive learning experience for our learners.
