On 11th November 2025, learners and staff at The Stable School came together to mark Remembrance Day with a moving tribute of reflection and creativity.
The whole school observed a minute’s silence to honour those who have served and sacrificed, before engaging in a series of themed creative design activities. Learners produced thoughtful artwork and poppy-inspired pieces, which have been transformed into beautiful window displays throughout the school. These displays now serve as a striking reminder of remembrance, peace, and gratitude.
Denise Carpenter, Principal of The Stable School, said:
“Remembrance Day is an important opportunity for our learners to pause, reflect, and express their respect in meaningful ways. Through creative design, they were able to explore the themes of remembrance and hope, while contributing to something truly special for our whole school community. I am incredibly proud of their thoughtfulness and creativity.”
The displays will remain in place throughout the week, allowing visitors and the wider school community to share in this collective act of remembrance.
